Tshibola has made just one appearance for Reading’s senior team, but is being linked with a move to Newcastle and Aston Villa, as per the Mirror.
The 20-year-old central midfielder spent last season on loan with League Two side Hartlepool United, registering four assists in 23 games.
His debut for the Royals came at the start of the season, making a four-minute cameo in a 4-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
He has been a regular at Under-21 level for the club, and won one cap for England at Under-18 level.
Despite his lack of senior experience in professional football, the Mirror report claims that both Villa and Newcastle have been scouting him, and are keen on making a move for Tshibola this summer.
A future prospect, rather than a current star?
Considering his age and lack of experience, it is unlikely that Tshibola is being targeted by either Villa or Newcastle for the first-team set-up. They must see potential in the youngster, but if a deal is to be completed, he is sure to be a player for the Under-21 system.
He is one for the future, and if a Premier League transfer comes off, Villa or Newcastle fans are unlikely to see much of Tshibola in the coming seasons.
