Report: Negotiations going on between Burnley and KRC Genk regarding Jelle Vossen

KRC Genk striker Jelle Vossen has been linked with Celtic, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough and Burnley.

It has been reported by the Belgian news outlet that the 26-year-old striker will train with his Genk teammates for their final session in Horst this morning.

Genk announced last month that the Vossen has an offer from a foreign club, with negotiations going on.

It has been reported by that talks are still going on with Burnley, with the Clarets yet to reach an agreement with Genk reading the transfer of the striker.

Interested clubs

HLN reported last month that Championship outfit Burnley are interested in signing Vossen from Genk this summer.

According to The Scottish Sun, Championship duo Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday and Belgian outfit Club Brugge are interested in Vossen.

Vossen has been on the books of Genk his entire career and has a contract until June 2017, according to

The 26-year-old scored eight goals and created 26 chances in 36 league appearances for Boro, helping them reach the playoff final.
