Indeed, the 19-year-old was stretching after linking up with the Tottenham squad for pre-season for the first time on Friday morning.
Alli hugely impressed in League One for MK Dons last season, winning awards and earning himself a Premier League move.
Now, he is exactly where any teenage footballer would like to be. But it's up to him, of course, to make the most of it. There is plenty to look forward to for Alli if he is willing to work for it.
Meanwhile, left-back Ben Davies was captured showing quick feet in the above video.
More of the same from the 22-year-old will no doubt impress Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is a stickler for fitness.
Davies' first-team place at this point, though, is far from secure due to competition from Danny Rose. It's also unclear where exactly Alli will fit in or whether he will be sent out on loan.
Either way, pre-season should be crucial for the pair at Tottenham.
