The midfielder is enthused by the side's early business in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have moved quickly in this transfer window, securing James Milner, Danny Ings and Adam Bogdan on free transfers while wrapping up deals for Nathaniel Clyne, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino.
That is six already despite the window having only been officially open for three days, and with many expecting a striker to turn up at Anfield as well, it is likely that they haven’t finished their business yet.
The early moves are something that have delighted Henderson, though, who says they have all been positive additions.
"It's a huge boost - all of the signings have been really positive," the midfielder told Liverpoolfc.com.
"I think we've shown good intent early on in the transfer window to go and get the players that we want. They're big players as well, and I'm sure they'll have a huge impact on Liverpool and hopefully this season."
One thing that will temper the expectations of the Liverpool’s fans, however, is that the fact that the club were similarly active early on last season.
While early moves show good intent from the club, most from last season have turned out to be poor recruits thus far, with only midfielder Emre Can enjoying a relatively good first season at Anfield.
The major difference, however, is that Brendan Rodgers has gone for experience this season, while also improving some of his side’s weaker areas, and fans will be hoping it is enough to see them challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League next year.
