Rangers have announced on their official website that they have signed Wes Foderingham.
The goalkeeper has joined the Scottish Championship club on a three-year deal with an option for a fourth year, according to the statement.
Foderingham has moved to Rangers on a free transfer, having left English League One outfit Swindon Town at the end of the 2014-15 season.
According to the statement on the Gers’ official website, the Glasgow outfit had to battle away interest from a number of English clubs.
Foderingham will provide competition for Rangers’ first-choice goalkeeper Cammy Bell following the departures of Steve Simonsen and Lee Robinson earlier this summer.
The 24-year-old is an experienced custodian, and he will add to the quality of the current Gers squad.
The former Fulham and Crystal Palace prospect is Rangers’ fifth signing of the summer so far.
Danny Wilson, Rob Kiernan, Jordan Gibson and Tom Lang were signed by Rangers earlier this summer.
