Former Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao has joined Chelsea on a season-long loan deal from AS Monaco.
Chelsea and Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the transfer of Radamel Falcao.
The Colombia international striker has joined Premier League champions Chelsea on a season-long loan deal from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
The 29-year-old featured on loan for United last season, but he struggled to make an impact.
In 26 Premier League appearances during the 2014-15 campaign, Falcao could score just four goals and managed to create only 18 chances.
The former Atletico Madrid star had a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 55%, and won 19 headers, 13 dribbles and nine tackles.
Falcao has been struggling with injuries and poor form for over a year now, but he is a hugely talented player who was the best striker in the world when he was at Atletico.
The former FC Porto striker is not going to be the first-choice striker at Chelsea, of course, but if he is used carefully and played to his strengths, then he could prove to be a very good signing for the Blues.
Following the transfer, Chelsea and United fans took to Twitter to have their say.

@CarefreeDaily I still don't understand the hate towards him though. Seems like a very smart move for a season while we nurture Bamf/Solanke
