A selection of the latest news concerning West Ham United.

The Hammers are expected to wrap up deals for Alex Song and Carl Jenkinson in the coming days, according to the Daily Mail.

The duo, who spent last season on loan at the Boleyn Ground, have had deals in the pipeline for a number of weeks. Song has already agreed personal terms ahead of a permanent transfer from Barcelona - although the two clubs are still disagreeing over a fee - whilst Jenkinson is expected to sign on another season-long loan.

Also in the Daily Mail, West Ham are pursuing a deal for Besiktas midfielder Tolgay Arslan, 24.

He arrived at the Turkish club under the stewardship of Slaven Bilic, and the Croatian boss wants the former German youth international to follow him to West Ham. The report states he is rated at £5 million by Besiktas, who signed him for just £350,000 in January.

Whilst deals have already been completed by West Ham, another report has suggested that one player will not be arriving at the Boleyn Ground. The Mirror have stated that Chelsea are blocking Loic Remy’s exit this summer, despite him being linked with a £15 million move to both the Hammers and Crystal Palace.
