The Leeds defender didn't exactly provide the most gracious of movement but took it on the chin on social media.
For critics of Leeds United defender Liam Cooper: the perfect material!
Indeed, a fan has picked out a three-second clip of Cooper falling over while on the ball in training and sent it to the 23-year-old on Twitter.
Not the most gracious of movers usually, the Leeds defender was in an advanced position in practice but... faltered somewhat as he tried to beat his man.
Luckily for the Whites man, he displayed his sense of humour on social media, not just retweeting the video but joking about it too:
Cooper was the Leeds United captain at times last season but Uwe Rosler may go in a different direction this term.
It's also unclear whether the 23-year-old would make it into Rosler's preferred starting line-up, with Giuseppe Bellusci and Sol Bamba the Yorkshire side's strongest defenders.
But Cooper can certainly still play a big part in Leeds' campaign, as he did last term. He links up well with both Bellusci and Bamba and can also slot in at left-back.
That said, the defender will have to show footwork that's a little more nimble than in the above video when it comes to matchday!
