Should Everton be keeping tabs on Arsenal pair David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny?

The Toffees will need to replace Tim Howard soon and these two have just been bumped down the pecking order at Arsenal.

Arsenal have pulled off perhaps the best piece of business in the transfer market in the Premier League so far this summer, after securing a deal to bring Chelsea legend Petr Cech to the club.

The move finally sees The Gunners have an experienced and world-class stopper in between the sticks for the first time since Jens Lehmann exited.

But what does it mean for both David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny. The Colombian is now back to being number two stopper at the club while the Pole is number three.

Should Everton be keeping tabs on the pair?

Tim Howard has been a magnificent servant at Everton and had an excellent World Cup last summer. However he is not getting any younger and last season that age looked to be catching up with him.

Joel Robles is nowhere near the level Everton will require if they are serious about making it into the Champions League, so a new stopper would be necessary.

Both of these men would be keen on a switch, no matter how much sweetness they give in interviews at the moment and could face a long-term future as a number one goalkeeper at Goodison Park.

Now would be the perfect time to strike for Everton and they would be foolish not to.
