Isla spent last season at QPR, and now Newcastle want to sign him.
The 27-year-old full-back spent last season on loan with QPR, and although he has now returned to Turin, Juve are keen on selling him at the earliest possible opportunity.
The Magpies have been linked with Isla in the report, along with Italian side Udinese, Spanish outfits Valladolid and Real Sociedad, as well as Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
There is no reference as to a fee that Newcastle would have to pay to secure Isla’s signing, but as Juve are keen on removing the Chilean international from their books, it is likely that he will be available for a cut price value.
Would Isla be a good signing for Newcastle?
Targeting Isla seems a strange move for Newcastle to make this summer, with the right-back position one of strength at St James’ Park. Daryl Janmaat was one of the best performing players in the division last season, and it is hard to see Isla replacing him in the line up.

However, he is a versatile option, and his ability to play on both the left and right of the pitch, as well as in midfield, could make Isla a target. If available for a budget fee there is no reason not to sign him, just other areas of the team need improving ahead of right-back.
