The young winger will be hoping for a more consistent season after an injury ravaged 2014-15.
Newcastle United fans will probably go into the new season with a mixed feeling of trepidation and optimism.
After nearly dropping into the Football League last term they will want a calmer campaign, with perhaps something to cheer about.
In order for that to happen the club will need to make some changes, which has already happened with the appointment of Steve McClaren.
They will also hope for a better season in regards to fitness, especially concerning a certain Rolando Aarons.
The young winger burst onto the scene at the start of last season but picked up a serious injury problem. After scoring two goals in five games early on in the season he missed six months of action before a return in May against QPR.
Now, with pre-season underway, he is working hard to ensure he remains fit for the upcoming season.
He has shared this picture on his Instagram today highlighting the fact he is getting fighting fit for the new season, in which he will hope to be a Newcastle United regular.
If he can remain fit and produce his best form, there is no way Newcastle should be down the bottom come next May.
