HITC Sport understands highly-rated Swansea City goalkeeper Gregor Zabret has agreed a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.
HITC Sport understands Swansea City have rewarded goalkeeper Gregor Zabret with a new one-year deal at the club.
Zabret's existing deal was due to expire this summer, but Swansea have moved to tie down the Slovenian to a one-year extension.
The 19-year-old joined Swansea in 2013 from Domzale with the Welsh club thought to have beaten the likes of West Brom and Sporting Lisbon to the teenager's signature.
Zabret has yet to make his first-team debut for Swansea, but he is highly-regarded by the club's coaching staff and is seen as one of the future.
Zabret was a regular in the club's Under-21s side last season and he has represented Slovenia all the way up from Under 16 to U21 level.
The athletic shot-stopper is set to be promoted to No3 keeper this season following the departures of Gerhard Tremmel and David Cornell this summer and Zabret will provide cover for Lukasz Fabianski and new signing Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
