Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter after signing defender Matt Mills

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of defender Matt Mills.

Nottingham Forest today confirmed on their official website that they have completed the signing of centre back Matt Mills.

The 28-year-old arrives at the City Ground having seen his Bolton Wanderers contract expire earlier this summer, meaning he has signed for Forest on a free transfer.

The move reunites Mills with Forest boss Dougie Freedman, after the duo worked together at Bolton before Freedman's sacking last season.

Mills now arrives to provide depth for Forest in defence, with Jack Hobbs and Kelvin Wilson proving to be injury prone in recent years.

Mills will now compete with Hobbs, Wilson and Michael Mancienne for a place in Freedman's starting XI, in what appears to be a strong group of defenders for the Forest boss.

Forest fans have been reacting on Twitter ever since Forest confirmed the deal earlier today, with many happy to see Mills arrive and reunite with Freedman.

Here are some of the reactions from Forest fans on Twitter after Mills became their first signing of the summer transfer window...
