Leicester City defender congratulated Wood on his move to Leeds United.
Wood's permanent signing by Leeds was confirmed by the club's official website on Wednesday, with the striker signing a four-year deal.
England under-21 centre-back Moore reached out to now former teammate Chris Wood via Twitter after the transfer was announced.
Will Moore be joining him?
The pair were part of Leicester's successful Championship promotion winning side two years ago, pictured celebrating above, and could be in for a repeat with Leeds.
Moore played in only 13 Premier League games last season, and Leicester's permanent signing of loanee Robert Huth enhances the chances he will go out on loan.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported in early June that Moore was being lined up by Leeds as a potential loan signing, and the defender himself was quoted by The Express saying he is keen on a Championship spell.
His future will depend on the plans of Leicester's next manager, but Wood signing for Leeds won't hurt the club's chances if Moore is keen to sign for a club chasing promotion, with their signing signalling their intent.
