HITC Sport understands from sources close to the potential deal that Jazz Richards has passed a medical at Fulham ahead of his proposed move from Swansea City and is poised to pen a long-term contract with the Championship club.
The 24-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Craven Cottage.
That agreement is now close to completion, allowing Richards to form part of Kit Symons’ ambitious project in west London.
The switch will take him away from home-town club Swansea on a permanent basis for the first time in his career.
Richards has previously spent time on loan at Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town, before linking up with Fulham for the second-half of the 2014/15 campaign.
He did enough during that spell to catch the eye and will now be hoping to kick on and help his new employers to push for a return to the Premier League.
