Having spent the 2014/15 season restricted to a squad rotation role, the 27-year-old centre-half has found his future to be in doubt in Turin, and a host of clubs have all been showing an interest in moving for him.
Southampton have been the latest team to ponder making a move for Ogbonna, as per Gianluca Di Marzio.
Whilst all this interest was evident, there have been no references to Juventus’s stance on selling Ogbonna, despite his limited first-team role in recent months.
However, the latest Tuttosport report claims that the Serie A champions are open to selling the defender, and are looking for roughly £7 million for him.
That appears to be a budget price for an internationally proven defender, who should be at the peak of his game, and any of the Premier League sides would be wise to move for him at that value.
The same report indicates that Southampton are preparing an offer, said to be in the ballpark that Juve are looking for, but there are no indications that any other teams have yet to formalise their interest in Ogbonna.
