HITC Sport understands highly-rated Crystal Palace youngster Jake Gray has signed a new deal at the club.
HITC Sport understands Crystal Palace have handed midfielder Jake Gray a new two-year contract at Selhurst Park.
Palace signed Gray as a 15-year-old from Wycombe Wanderers and he has worked his way up the ranks to the fringes of the first-team with a number of eye-catching displays in the youth side.
Gray is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Palace and made his debut last season with two substitute appearances in the Capital One Cup against Walsall and Newcastle.
The 19-year-old also enjoyed a month out on loan last season at Cheltenham, making four appearances for the club in League Two.
Gray's current deal was due to expire this summer, but Palace have moved to reward Gray for his progress with a new improved contract with the midfielder tipped to be one for the future for Alan Pardew.
Pardew is likely to send Gray out on loan again next season so that the exciting wide player can get regular first-team action under his belt and gain valuable experience.
