Aston Villa defender Lewis Kinsella has taken to social networking site Twitter to state that he is looking forward to the upcoming 2015-16 campaign.
This means that the promising left-back will remain at Villa Park until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 20-year-old is looking forward to pre-season training with Villa and has posted the following message on Twitter:
Back to Birmingham tomorrow big year for myself looking to push on and see what this season brings— Lewis Kinsella (@Lewis_kinsella) June 29, 2015
Kinsella has not made his Premier League debut for Villa yet and played on loan for League Two outfit Luton Town for a short period of time during the 2014-15 season.
However, it seems that Villa manager Tim Sherwood has been impressed with his potential, and the new contract suggests that the club have faith in him.
It will not be easy for Kinsella, though, and he will have to give his all during pre-season.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Sherwood is well-known for giving young players chances, and Kinsella will have to make the most of the opportunities which will be handed to him.
