The Aston Villa star has named his dream team, including two former Tottenham players.
Despite having never payed with either Bale or Modric, Agbonlahor played against the duo many times whilst they were with Spurs, prior to their moves to Real Madrid.
Both still with Madrid, Modric seems to have improved since his time at White Hart Lane, whilst Bale suffered something of a form crisis in the 2014/15 season. However, they both are expected to remain with the club next term, and will be looking to win the La Liga title under head coach Rafael Benitez.
Speaking of Bale, Agbonlahor praised the Welshman’s work rate and physical abilities, as well as his ability to excite watch crowds.
He said: “Gareth Bale gets the fans on their feet. He's strong, powerful and works really hard on his game.”
On Modric, the Villa star praised his under-appreciated goalscoring ability, as well as sharing the belief that he is better now than he was during his time with Spurs.
Agbonlahor continued: “We all knew how good Luka Modric was from his time at Spurs but now he's even better. He's tricky and can score goals out of nothing - a part of his game that not many people praise him for.”
