People News: HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America.

HSBC has hired Lilia Karboub from Deutsche Bank to trade credit-derivatives indexes in London, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Bloomberg News reports that Karboub will report to Hussein Dbouk, HSBC’s global head of credit-default swap trading, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because they’re not authorized to talk about the move. Dbouk and Karboub previously worked together at Citigroup, the person said.

In the meantime, Reuters reports that Bank of America has named Chris Gammons and Alex To as co-heads of Asia-Pacific investment banking, according to an internal memo obtained by Reuters on Friday.

Gammons and To will report to Jiro Seguchi, head of Asia-Pacific global corporate and investment banking, and Karim Assef and Diego De Giorgi, the global co-heads of global investment banking, the memo said.
