Rangers defender Luca Gasparotto has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at returning to pre-season training.
The 20-year-old has been in his native Canada following the end of the 2014-15 campaign, and he is looking forward to getting back to Glasgow and starting pre-season training.
Toronto, it's been amazing Will miss this place but I'm excited to get back to Glasgow and get going again, big season ahead— Luca Gasparotto (@lucagasparotto3) June 26, 2015
Big season ahead
As Gasparotto mentions in his tweet, the 2015-16 campaign will be big, not just for him but for Rangers as well.
The Gers will be aiming for promotion to the Scottish Premiership from the Scottish Championship next season.
Rangers reached the Premiership final during the 2014-15 campaign, and this time they will be aiming for automatic promotion.
Gasparotto himself will be looking to play an important role for the Gers next season following a loan spell at Scottish League One outfit Airdrieonians in 2014-15.
The Canadian will be looking to impress new manager Mark Warburton during pre-season training and getting a chance in the first team.
