Tottenham are reported by the Standard to be hunting the 23-year-old, while Salah has also been linked with a loan move to West Ham by the Daily Mirror.
However, Fiorentina director Vincenzo Guerini believes the Egyptian will join the Serie A side, who he was playing for on loan last season.
He is quoted as telling reporters by the Standard: "I tell the fans that the club made an insane offer to Salah.
"If any player, not just Salah, turned down a proposal like that, then it’s best he doesn’t stay at Fiorentina. However, I think Salah will accept."
A lucky escape?
Salah is one of many who hasn't received an abundance of chances at Chelsea, of course, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and more flourishing away from Stamford Bridge to prove failing in west London isn't the be all and end all of a player's career.
But the 23-year-old has nevertheless not shown his best since moving to the Premier League - are Chelsea's leftovers really good enough for Tottenham?
For West Ham, too, should Salah move to Fiorentina, it may free them up to look at other targets, especially as Dimitri Payet has already moved to Upton Park this summer.
