The goalkeeper has been talking himself up - leaving Tottenham Hotspur supporters suspicious.
Michel Vorm's latest comments - combined with the above tweet from Tottenham's official Twitter feed - have left some fans worried.
Indeed, with Hugo Lloris heavily linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, supporters are fearing the worst. The Daily Telegraph recently reported that Spurs will do what they can to keep the goalkeeper in north London - but Vorm's latest quotes have some fans suspicious.
That suspicion is that Lloris will indeed end up leaving Tottenham, with a confident Vorm taking over as no.1. That would mean no big-name replacement signed and a shot stopper who would need game time to return to his best - despite his claims, he didn't actually show anything too positive last term.
Perhaps Vorm was brought in with a view to Lloris leaving in the first place. The Dutchman was first choice at Swansea - could he have been promised the no.1 slot at Spurs just not straight away?
It's an ambitious theory and Tottenham may well sign a new goalkeeper even if Lloris does end up leaving the north London club.
Some supporters, though, are worried - and a tad suspicious. Here's how a few of them reacted to Vorm's latest comments on Twitter:
