Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Darryl Lachman from FC Twente.
The 25-year-old centre-back progressed through Ajax’s youth system, and played for FC Groningen and PEC Zwolle before joining Twente in 2014.
Lachman was not a regular for Twente during the 2014-15 campaign, though, as he was able to make just 15 appearances in the Eredivisie.
In those 15 games, the defender created two chances, had a pass accuracy of 91%, and won 19 headers, five dribbles and 12 tackles.
Twente finished 10th in the Dutch league table during the 2014-15 season, while Wednesday ended up 13th in the Championship with 60 points from 46 matches.
Following the signing of Lachman, Wednesday fans took to Twitter to have their say.

Looks like Lachman is a decent talent though. Good show of intent that we have made a transfer now, hopefully plenty more to come #swfc— SLH (@SamHowe14) June 25, 2015
