A selection of the latest transfer news concerning West Ham United.

The Hammers are reportedly in ‘open dialogue’ with Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour, according to Foot Mercato.

The centre-back, 25, is an in-demand transfer target this summer, and the report claims that Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle from the Premier League alone want to sign him.

Although West Ham are holding talks with the player, who made 26 appearances last term, Monaco are not expected to sell him for less than £15 million, and it is unknown whether the Hammers will willingly pay that much.

The Sun claim that the East London club were offered Atletico Madrid starlet Oliver Torres this summer, before deciding to move for Dimitri Payet instead.

Payet is expected to complete his move to the Boleyn Ground in the coming days, and his experience is likely one of the reasons West Ham have targeted him ahead of the 20-year-old Torres.

Charlie Austin could not be moving away from Queens Park Rangers this summer, the Telegraph reports.

The R’s want no less than £15 million for his signature, and the English striker is said to fear that the steep price tag will prevent a transfer away Loftus Road, despite interest in him from West Ham and Newcastle.
