The 23-year-old midfielder plays through the centre of the pitch, and impressed in League One last term as the Dons won automatic promotion. He scored seven goals and registered five assists in 30 league games, earning international recognition from Northern Ireland in the process.
Reeves, who started his career with Southampton’s impressive academy, earned a wealth of plaudits due to his displays, and has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
West Brom have reportedly submitted a £1 million offer for his services, although it is not stated in the report whether the Dons are willing to sell one of their key players, or for how much he could be sold.
Manager Tony Pulis is keen to add to his squad this summer, and a player like Reeves would be a perfect addition. He is young, homegrown and has shown his technical ability, whilst being available for a cheap price.
He may be unproven in the top flight, but it has been shown in recent years that players have made the step up with ease. If he were playing alongside the experienced head of Darren Fletcher, the youngster would benefit with his development by working with a truly learned Premier League level midfielder.
There is no indication as to the state of the negotiations between the two clubs, although West Brom will likely return with a higher bid should their first approach be rejected by the newly promoted Championship outfit.
