Former West Ham defender Julian Dicks asked to choose between Austin, Remy and Ba

QPR's Austin is reportedly wanted by Newcastle United, while Southampton and West Bromwich Albion are allegedly interested in Remy and Ba respectively.

Julian Dicks has stated on social networking networking site Twitter that West Ham United should sign Charlie Austin ahead of Loic Remy and Demba Ba.

The former West Ham defender believes that the Queens Park Rangers forward is more consistent than Chelsea striker Remy and ex-Hammer and Newcastle United striker Ba.

Austin would indeed be a great signing for West Ham, especially as he had a better season than Remy in 2014-15 and is younger as well.

The 25-year-old Englishman scored 18 goals and created 23 chances in 35 Premier League appearances.

The Englishman had a pass accuracy of 66% and a shot accuracy of 67%, and won 86 headers, 15 dribbles and 16 tackles.

Meanwhile, Remy scored seven goals and created five chances in 19 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.

The former Marseille star had a pass accuracy of 82% and a shot accuracy of 59%, and won 11 headers, seven dribbles and two tackles.

Ba, who is currently on the books of Turkish giants Besiktas, is 30 years of age and is not going to a long-term solution for West Ham.

London outfit West Ham, though, will face competition for all of the three strikers mentioned above.

Swansea City and Southampton are interested in Remy, according to The Mirror, while The Sun reports of Crystal Palace’s willingness to sign the Frenchman.

According to The Sun, Newcastle United are keen on signing Austin this summer, while The Birmingham Mail claims that West Bromwich Albion want Ba.
