HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Bolton midfielder Darren Pratley is poised to sign a new deal at the Macron Stadium.
Pratley's previous deal expired this summer, but the club offered the 30-year-old a new contract in a bid to keep him at the club.
A number of clubs, including Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town are thought to have shown an interest in Pratley, but the goalscoring midfielder has decided to accept Bolton's offer of a new deal.
News of Pratley's new deal will come as a massive boost to Bolton boss Neil Lennon as he lost a number of players this summer and has yet to bring in any new faces to freshen up his squad.
Pratley has made more than 100 appearances for Bolton since joining the club on a free transfer from Swansea City.
The former Fulham man impressed last season under Neil Lennon before his season was cut short in January by injury, but he is now fully fit and fit for pre-season.
