HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Ipswich are poised to sign Bournemouth duo Ryan Fraser and Brett Pitman.
Scottish winger Fraser is set to join Ipswich on a season-long loan deal as part of the deal which will see Town defender Tyrone Mings make a move to Premier League new boys.
Former Aberdeen starlet Fraser is highly-rated by Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, but he feels the diminutive wide-man would be best served going out on loan for regular first-team action next season.
The arrival of Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea has pushed Fraser down the pecking order at Dean Court and Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy has moved quickly to agree a deal for the Scot as a sweetener in the Mings deal.
Veteran striker Pitman is to join Ipswich on a permanent basis as McCarthy looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
Pitman, who is in his second spell at Bournemouth, found himself playing a back-up role last season, with most of his appearances coming off the bench, but he still managed to score 13 goals to help the club win promotion to the Premier League.
Fraser and Pitman have both undergone medicals at Ipswich and they are set to become the Championship club's first two signings of the summer as they look to mount another bid for promotion next season.
