The former Rangers defender has returned to Ibrox.
The 23-year-old defender started his career with Rangers, scoring one goals in 24 appearances in an impressive spell after breaking through the academy system.
He left Ibrox to sign with Liverpool in the summer of 2010, having won a League title and League Cup with the Gers, whilst also claiming a Scottish Cup medal the previous season.
A fully-capped Scottish international, Wilson spent last season with Hearts, playing 33 games and captaining them to the Scottish Championship title.
Surprisingly, he left the club at the end of the 2014/15 season, and his drop down to Rangers came as even more of a surprise. Rather than taking Hearts into the Premiership, he opted to move to Ibrox in an attempt to help his boyhood team back into the top flight for the first time since the 2012/13 season.
The signing should be considered a real coup for Rangers, and fans reacted in positive fashion when the news broke that Wilson had officially signed.
