Italian defender Davide Santon says he has no desire to leave Inter Milan this summer, via a post on his official Facebook page.
Tuttomercatoweb had reported earlier this week he was a transfer target of Crystal Palace.
Santon played under Palace boss Alan Pardew during his spell at Newcastle United, and only left the Toon on a permanent deal to rejoin Inter in January.
He wrote: "Hello guys, I read all your comments and in this regard I wanted to tell you that I'm in the dark and my desire is to stay at Inter. Your comments made me really happy and I embrace you all with affection. Forza Inter!"
Having just rejoined the club at which he originally made his name after rising through their youth academy, it would have been a surprise if Santon wanted to depart so soon.
He made 14 appearances for Inter last season in all competitions last season, including playing in the Europa League.
Any decision would be influenced by the desire of boss Roberto Mancini, combined with the financial aspect of Palace's interest, but the Eagles are likely going to have to look elsewhere if they want to sign a left-back this summer.
