Tottenham ace Andros Townsend has reportedly been told he is not for sale this summer.
Townsend, 23, had an up-and-down season last term, and failed to secure a regular place in Pochettino's first team due to his inconsistent displays.
With a number of players expected to leave White Hart Lane in the coming months, there has also been speculation over Townsend's future in North London.
However, The Telegraph believe that a 'frustrated' Townsend has been reassured that he has an important place in the Tottenham side next season and beyond, and will reject all bids for the winger this summer.
Make or break?
Townsend had an indifferent season for Spurs, but has now been given a huge vote of confidence by manager Pochettino if the report is correct.
Now though, Townsend needs to repay that faith with performances on the pitch next season, and he will be hoping to emulate the likes of Danny Rose, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane in improving exponentially under Pochettino.
If he doesn't, then we may well see Tottenham consider Townsend's future at the club - so this could well be a make or break season for Townsend at Spurs. The question now is; can he deliver on a regular basis?
