Report: Crystal Palace could move for Hull City’s Dame N'Doye

Crystal Palace, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City are all reportedly interested in Hull City striker Dame N'Doye.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Dame N’Doye from Hull City this summer, according to The Mirror.

It has been reported by the British newspaper that Palace manager Alan Pardew could move for the striker if he fails to sign Charlie Austin from Queens Park Rangers.

The English forward is a target for Premier League outfit Newcastle United, according to The Sun.

The Mirror recently reported that QPR want £15 million for the services of Austin, and the Palace board is reportedly not willing to spend that much on the 25-year-old.

Palace’s Premier League rivals, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City are also interested in N’Doye, according to The Sun.

Good move from Crystal Palace?

Senegal international striker N’Doye joined Hull from Lokomotiv Moscow in the January transfer window and has a contract with the Tigers until June 2017, according to

The former Panathinaikos man could score only five goals and created just 12 chances in 15 Premier League appearances for Hull in the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign.

The Senegalese had a pass accuracy of 77% and a shot accuracy of 49%, and won 15 headers, 11 dribbles and nine tackles.

N’Doye’s stats are not great, but they are not bad either. A goal every three games is not a bad return for a striker who has spent less than six months in the Premier League.

Moreover, the striker was playing for a team who were struggling for survival and lacking creativity from midfield.

N’Doye would be a ‘gamble signing’ for Palace, but if he comes at a relatively cheap price, then the Eagles should sign him.
