Manchester United transfer news: Four quality stars linked; £7m Nani exit reportedly close

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

According to a report from the Telegraph, Manchester United are interested in bringing four quality stars to Old Trafford this summer.

The report claims United are targeting Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema and Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen and are willing to spend in the region of £150million to sign them.

That would certainly make an impressive spine to any team in Europe but it remains to be seen if United will be successful in their alleged endeavours.

Cillessen would be a good replacement for David de Gea if the latter moves to Real this summer, but it is unlikely the Spanish giants would sanction a move for two of their most important players.

As for Schweinsteiger, he is perhaps more likely to arrive given his age and previous working relationship with Louis van Gaal.

In other news, the Daily Mail reports that United winger Nani could be closing in on a £7million move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon and while he impressed back in his homeland it is being suggested he has not future at Old Trafford.

The latest report claims Nani has been offered a four-year deal and that the player could complete his medical as early as this week.
