DeAndre Yedlin has mocked rumours linking him with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer on Twitter, indicating that he is more than ready to fight for his place at White Hart Lane.
According to the Mail, Yedlin has been named as a loan target for Championship clubs Derby County and Bolton Wanderers as the arrival of Burnley full-back Kieran Trippier could knock him to third choice right-back.
Nevertheless, the American was quick to quash rumours linking him with a move away from the North London club and looks more determined than ever to win a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s first team squad.

Should Yedlin go out on loan or stay at Spurs?
The decision by Yedlin to stay at Spurs rather than go out on loan could be one that he comes to regret.
Despite his obvious ability and potential, Pochettino is likely to favour Kyle Walker and Trippier over him next season and he could be set for another year of watching on from the sidelines.
Last season, the United States international made just the one appearance in the Premier League, playing 11 minutes against Aston Villa in a 1-0 loss.
A similar lack of game time next season would do him no favours whatsoever and a loan move away should be considered by himself and management team.
If he can prove himself a success, then he may be recalled and handed a much more senior role from January onwards, similar to Jordon Ibe’s experience at Liverpool following his return from Derby last season.
