West Ham transfer round-up: Payet decision to be made on Monday

A select round-up of the latest news relating to West Ham United.

The Daily Mail is reporting that West Ham will find out later on Monday whether a deal for Dimitri Payet is on the cards, following a £9.4 million offer submitted over the weekend.

The report suggests that another meeting is planned for the coming days, with Payet and his family keen on securing a move to England.

The same report also claims that the Hammers are waiting to hear back on news concerning a triple transfer deal, involving Carl Jenksinon, Alex Song and Charlie Austin.

Jenkinson is reportedly already on the way to Sunderland, whilst Chelsea and Manchester City want Song, and Austin is the target of a host of Premier League clubs.

The Sun indicated that West Ham are also interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele, facing competition from Chelsea for a player who has struggled to make a mark under Mauricio Pochettino.

The Belgian midfielder could be available this summer, and it is more likely that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will sanction a deal to West Ham, rather than Chelsea, who provide more of a direct rivalry for league success than the East London club.
