Tottenham Hotspur transfer round-up: Club reportedly ready to take loss over Soldado

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Tottenham are set to make a £15 million loss over striker Roberto Soldado.

The paper suggests he’s likely to be on his way to Turkish club Galatasaray over the summer after struggling at White Hart Lane under Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham paid around the £26 million mark when they signed the player from Spanish club Valencia.

The Daily Mail has reported that Inter Milan have fought off competition from a number of clubs over Monaco’s Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The paper mentions Spurs as an interested party in signing the midfielder, but the Serie A side have reportedly agreed a deal subject to a medical.

Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be keen, according to the paper, on improving his midfield options this summer.

The Chronicle has reported that Spurs winger Andros Townsend is reportedly a target for Sunderland.

The wide man could be moved on this summer by Tottenham, with Sunderland seeking an attacking left sided player according to the paper.

Aston Villa, Swansea City and Newcastle United are all clubs mentioned by the paper as having an interest in him.
