Watford, West Ham United and Valencia are reportedly interested in Genoa winger Diego Perotti.

West Ham United and Watford target Diego Perotti wants to move to Valencia this summer, according to The Mirror.

Watford have already agreed a deal with Genoa, but the Argentina international winger wants to return to La Liga, according to the report.

It has been claimed by the British newspaper that newly-promoted Watford’s bid of £7 million has already been accepted by Genoa, but the Hornets are yet to convince Perotti.

“Valencia are understood to have made a lower offer than Watford for the 26-year-old Argentinian,” states the report in The Mirror.

“But Perotti would prefer a move there and is understood to be holding out for the Spaniards to return with an improved bid.”

West Ham are also reported to be interested in the 26-year-old former Sevilla winger, according to The Daily Mail.

Valencia preference understandable

It is understandable why Perotti reportedly prefers to join Valencia, who finished fourth in the recently concluded 2014-15 La Liga campaign and have a chance of playing in the Champions League next season.

Valencia are a big club and have lofty ambitions for the future, and it makes sense for the Argentine to want a move to the Mestalla this summer.

Moreover, Perotti has played in La Liga before, which means that he knows the Spanish league inside out.
