Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Jenkinson's performance for England U21s

England's under-21s defeated Sweden 1-0 on Sunday but what did Arsenal fans think of Carl Jenkinson's performance?

Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson played a starring role in England under-21s’ Euro Championship group-stage victory against Sweden on Sunday.

While Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard scored the only goal of the game, it was Jenkinson who impressed the most, proving yet again that he has the talent to become a very good top-flight full-back.

Jenkinson may be on the books at Arsenal but the 23-year-old had to wait until last season on loan at West Ham United to show what he can do when played week in, week out.

The Hammers could do with him again next season but it remains to be seen where Jenkinson will be playing, with a loan move seemingly more likely given the competition for places at the Emirates Stadium right now.

As well as Jenkinson, Arsenal have Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers and Hector Bellerin who can all play on the right side but Jenkinson continues to show that he has the talent to succeed long-term at the Gunners every time he takes to the pitch.

Following his latest performance we took to Twitter to see what Arsenal fans thought and you can read a selection of what we found below:
