West Ham reportedly interested in Zdravko Kuzmanovic

Inter Milan

Could West Ham United bring the Serbian international to Upton Park this summer?

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham United are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic this summer.

The 27-year-old has played 55 times for the Serie A club, having previously turned out for Fiorentina, VfB Stuttgart and FC Basel.

The latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter are keen to cash in on some of their players this summer and Kuzmanovic could be included on that list with a number of clubs said to be interested.

Along with West Ham’s alleged interest, it is also claimed newly-promoted side Watford are keen, as are German clubs Schalke, Werder Bremen and Borussia Monchengladbach.

West Ham are likely to have a busy summer transfer window following Slaven Bilic’s appointment as manager, and Kuzmanovic certainly has the experience to be a fine addition.

He has been capped 51 times for Serbia, scoring six goals for his country, while he proved at Stuttgart that he can be a fine creative force, scoring 22 goals and providing 14 assists.

That record is likely to be the reason why German clubs are now said to be interested in bringing him back to the Bundesliga but West Ham may yet make their move.
