Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the transfer of Kieran Trippier.
The former Manchester City prospect made 185 appearances for the Clarets, and started every Premier League game during the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign.
Trippier created 63 chances in 38 Premier League appearances in 2014-15. The 24-year-old had a pass accuracy of 61% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won 68 headers, 26 dribbles and 57 tackles.
The defender initially joined Burnley on a season-long loan deal from City in the summer of 2011 and moved to the Clarets on a permanent contract in 2012.
Over the past three years, the former England Under-21 international established himself as one of the best players for Burnley.
