The Ecuador striker has been banging in the goals for his nation and club side Emelec.
The report from Calcio Mercato suggests that several teams across Europe are keen on the player, including Swansea and West Ham.
His signature would see him join up with international team-mates Jefferson Monrero and Enner Valencia at Swansea or West Ham respectively.
Would he be a good signing?
Based on his current form, yes.
Bolanos has caught the eye with his performances at the Copa America this summer. He shone against Mexico last night, scoring a goal and setting up Valencia in a 2-1 win against El Tricolor.
This came off the back of an excellent spell of form with his club Emelec. He scored 24 goals in 48 games in the 2014 season for Emelec and so far in the 2015 campaign he has 16 in 24, including six in nine Copa Libertadores appearances. He also has four goals in seven games for the Ecuador national team.
He certainly seems to be an excellent talent, although any interested party will have reservations over his last stint abroad - where he struggled at Chivas USA in MLS.
However, the 25-year-old appears to have improved since then, and both Swansea and West Ham are right to be keeping tabs on the player.
