Derby County and West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the transfer of Chris Baird.
Baird has joined Championship outfit Derby on a two-year contract as a free agent after leaving Premier League club West Bromwich Albion.
The 33-year-old defender featured in 19 Premier League matches in the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign, creating five chances in the process.
The Northern Ireland international had a pass accuracy of 76% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won 15 headers, three dribbles and 15 tackles.
Baird is Derby’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window following the recruitment of Darren Bent, Alex Pearce, Scott Carson and Andreas Weimann.
The Rams will be aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship next season under new head coach Paul Clement.
Following Baird’s move to the iPro Stadium, Derby and West Brom supporters took to Twitter to have their say.
