The Premier League fixtures for the new season were released earlier this week and the bookies have nailed their colours to the mast over who they think will be relegated from the top flight by this point next year.
Watford are the current favourites at a best price of 3/4, with Quique Flores arguably facing a very difficult challenge to keep the team in the top flight.
Norwich are the second favourites to go down, with plenty of doubt seemingly existing over the longevity of the East Anglian side in terms of the market.
Alex Neil did a good job last season to ensure that his team went up through the play-offs and he’s facing an even bigger task in terms of keeping his squad motivated when they could still be a little hungover from the last campaign.
AFC Bournemouth have plenty of neutral admirers and the early indication is that they have a little bit of support to stay up.
Some bookies make them the third favourites to go down at 5/4, which is a barely shorter price when compared with Sunderland.
There’s a bit of doubt with Leicester at 9/2 and Aston Villa at 5/1, although both teams showed some form towards the end of last season.
It will be fascinating to see how it all pans out.
