Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor insists that he is committed to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that he will remain at the club next season.

The Togo international has been the subjection of intense speculation over the past few weeks, having struggled for playing time throughout the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign.

The former Arsenal and Manchester City striker could make just 13 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs in 2014-15, scoring two goals and creating 12 chances in the process.

According to a recent report in The Mirror, Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants to sell Adebayor in the summer transfer window.

However, the player himself seems determined to remain at White Hart Lane for the 2015-16 campaign.

Following his first goal in seven months in Togo's 2-1 win over Liberia, Adebayor took to Twitter to post the following messages:

Adebayor’s tweets come just days after he made it clear - also on Twitter - that he is committed to Tottenham.
