Teemu Pukki has joined Brondby on a permanent contact from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the departure of Teemu Pukki.

The Finland international forward has joined Brondby on a three-year contract after a loan spell at the Danish club, as announced on Celtic’s official website on Friday.

The 25-year-old forward joined the Danish outfit on loan from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in the summer of 2014.

Pukki scored nine goals for Brondby during the 2014-15 season, helping them finish third in the Danish Superliga in the process.

The forward joined Celtic from German club Schalke in the summer of 2013, but he was largely a disappointment at Celtic Park.

Pukki managed to score just six goals in his debut season for the Scottish giants.

The 25-year-old made five appearances for the Bhoys at the start of the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign, before Celtic manager Ronny Deila deemed him surplus to requirements.

Pukki made 37 appearances in total for the Hoops, scoring nine goals in the process.

Following the 25-year-old’s departure, Celtic fans took to Twitter to have their say.
