Leeds United youngsters Tyler Denton and Luke Parkin both signed new contracts at Elland Road this week, and in a not so unusual photo opportunity the club's website and Twitter account published the duo together as they put pen to paper.
What wasn't so normal though was that Leeds added a picture of the pair when they signed deals when they were much, much younger.
Leeds were clearly proud of the duo, coupling the picture of their newly agreed deals this week with a picture from over 12 years ago, when the club would have still been in the Premier League.
Defender Denton told the club's website: "My journey here started with Parko when we were six – I signed with him when I was seven so it’s really good to sign with him now as well."
While striker Parkin added: "We’ve signed before together and have done it again this year. We’ve been together all the way through so it’s really good."
Massimo Cellino had this summer made it clear that the Whites were going to focus on developing the talent in their academy, and Leeds have certainly kept to their word, extending a number of young prospects' stays at Elland Road.
