Demba Ba comments on his future, amid West Ham and West Brom interest

The former Newcastle striker has been linked with a move to West Ham, West Brom and Crystal Palace.

Ba has been linked with a return to English football, and he has told World Soccer that he has ‘another big move’ left in his career.

The 30-year-old striker said: “The fans in Turkey are very passionate and create a great atmosphere but it is no secret that the standard of football is of a lower quality than in England. I am still young and I believe I have another big move left in my career. The Premier League interests me and I am keeping my options open.”

These are comments which will certainly please fans of the interested parties, with three clubs said to be in for him.

The Sun reported that West Ham wanted to bring their former striker back to the Boleyn Ground, whilst the Times claim that West Brom are keen on his services, and Eurosport indicated interest from Crystal Palace.

Ba sounds keen on securing a return to England, and with all the clubs interested in him a move is bound to happen. He is proven in the Premier League, and has links with all three clubs said to be in for him.

He used to play for West Ham, played under Palace boss Alan Pardew at Newcastle, and Tony Pulis attempted to sign him whilst Stoke manager in 2011.

Whilst his claim that he is still young may not be completely true, with his top level career only nearing its end, Ba would certainly be a good signing for all three clubs keen on him.

He wants another ‘big move’ and has admitted that the Premier League still interests him, and it will surely not be too long before the interested clubs formalise their targets and submit a concrete offer for his services.
