The Argentine spent last season on loan at Marseille.
West Ham are being linked with a bagful of new players this summer, so why not add another to the pile.
The club are after some more wide options, something they are currently a little bereft of. One name that has popped up today is Argentine talent Lucas Ocampos.
Tutto Mercato Web is reporting that West Ham and Liverpool are keen on the 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Marseille.
The tall and skilful attacker was something of a boy wonder at Quilmes before heading to Argentine giants River Plate. Monaco, during the height of their financial clout, splashed out a fee reported by Goal.com to be in the region of €15 million in 2012.
However he has struggled to adapt and was uninspiring during his stint at Marseille last term.
Despite these recent struggles he is full of natural talent and Slaven Bilic is known to like someone who is a bit of a renegade.
The interest seems tame for now, plus, there is an issue over whether they would manage a work permit for the player.
However, it is a rumour to keep tabs on this summer.
