Arsenal attacker Serge Gnabry is busy preparing for Germany's attempt to win the European under-21 Championships.
He was pictured in conversation with coach Horst Hrubesch at the tournament in the Czech Republic, with less than 24 hours to go ahead of the opener.
Gnabry, 19, is attempting to make up for lost time after injuries ruined his 2014/15 season after his breakthrough 12 months earlier.
He did not play a single minute for the first team, instead featuring only eight times for Arsenal's under-21 side, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
The winger has only played twice for his national under-21 side in his career so far, and will be keen to make an impact and show the watching German public what he can do.
Gnabry is an explosive talent, with pace, power and an eye for goal, and can be a matchwinner for the German side.
He is joined by Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, one of the Hrubesch's side's key players.
Germany's first game of the tournament is on Wednesday evening against Serbia, with hosts Czech Republic and Denmark also in their group and contesting the opening game at 6pm.
